What We Do

The JH Friday Food Project works with Teton County School District #1 to deliver fresh produce and nutritious non-perishable food to elementary students who are most at-risk for hunger over the weekend. The food bags help these children thrive and succeed at school.

What is in the bags?

As we rely partly on donated food, every week differs a bit. The food we pack is always healthy, kid-friendly and non-perishable  — that will never change! Our bags frequently include apples, bananas, snack bars and easy-to-prepare items like pasta and bread.

Where does the food come from?

The healthy, non-perishable food in our bags is from both donations and purchases. We are partnered with local and national organizations to make this happen.
Each bag is then carefully packed by our volunteers.

How do kids get the bags?

Every Friday, our volunteers deliver the bags to schools in Teton County School District.

Make a difference.

ALL DONATIONS GO DIRECTLY TO THE PURCHASE OF NON-PERISHABLE FOODS.
